Find an old coffee tableIMG_20150615_140314342 (1)
I found my table at a thrift store for 5 bucks! I know it looks a little scary, but you can literally paint anything.
Make sure your table is able to withstand weight.
I had to put in cross bars. I just cut two pieces of wood to fit horizontally across, and I glued them down with Gorilla Glue.
Fixing a shelf onto the tableIMG_20150617_131058211
Find two pieces of wood. You are going to nail them into two sides of the legs, to hold up the plywood. Cut plywood to fit under the table. Fix onto the wood with Gorilla Glue.
Next paint
I used Rust-Oleum plaint. In Almond. It took me about three coats to paint over the dark color.
Cut Seat CushionIMG_20150621_135136710
I used two 1 inch foam cushions. You can find these at Hobby Lobby or Walmart. Take your measurements of you table! Lay out you cushion on the ground, then flip your table over them, and cut. Use any type of glue you have to adhere them to the top of you table (this will just help flip your table again with the cushions adhered to place your fabric on).
Adhere fabric to your table
Look at how you want your fabric to look when your done. Now place on the table, and flip over, keeping the fabric in place. Now go around the bottom of the table stapling the fabric into place.
Now you have a nice Boho Ottoman!
